Winter Wildlife Track + Sign

Saturday, January 27th in Swanville | 12:30pm – 2:30pm

We’ll gather together in the wintery woods and explore who is living there, what they are doing during the winter months and why. We will look at wildlife track and sign, and do some trailing if conditions allow.

Dress for the outdoors, we’ll be outside for the entirety of the workshop. You may want to bring note taking materials. Please do not bring pets.

This event is for LGBTQIA+ teens and adults.
You are welcome to attend alone or with others!

Sliding scale $5 – $45. No one turned away for lack of funds.

We appreciate pre-registration, and will cap at 12 participants. If this session fills we’re excited to offer more dates in the coming weeks!

Meg (she/they) is a queer, white, able bodied, trying to be a mostly feral animal of middle class background. She also identifies as crazy, a scorpio, and attempts to fight capitalism, racism and imperialism, dreaming towards biocentrism and collective liberation. They have been prioritizing sharing skills with marginalized communities engaged in resistance and survival. Meg has ten plus years of experience with wildlife track and sign and is a has completed the challenging certification evaluation with CyberTracker in wildlife track and sign. She has taught tracking to a diverse group of audiences, including public school children, after school groups and a wide variety of adults. They enjoy foraging for wild foods, especially seaweed, making plant medicine and nerding out hard about mammals and birds.
